Classic Mode Sdn Bhd started as a small trading company in the year 1993 at Selesa Jaya terrace factory in Balakong. We thereafter moved to a rented single-storey detached factory at Lot 31, Jalan Balakong in 2003 and in February 2019, we moved to our newly acquired 3-storey detached factory in Cheras Jaya to cater to our expansion needs.
Our new factory, located at No. 7, Jalan CJ 16/1A, Kawasan Perindustrian Cheras Jaya, 43200 Cheras, Selangor Darul Ehsan, is approximately 15 km from the city centre of Kuala-Lumpur and 40 km from Port Klang, where most of our products are handled inwards or outwards.
With a built-up area of over 30,000 sq.ft. and cold room and freezer capacity of around 250,000 cubic feet, our new factory can cater approximately 1,000 metric tons of storage space. We also invested in a new smoke machine, which was directly imported from Germany, to support our new range of smoked products that complements our existing business.
We believe that with our current resources and facilities, we not only can support the increasing demands from our existing customers but also grow our business to greater heights.

The main business of the company is trading of seafood products and importation of frozen and dry seafood from overseas for repacking and distribution to local wholesalers, factories, wet & night markets, restaurant and others. We are specialized in all kinds of seafood products. Our products are imported from more than 15 countries, including China, Chile, Taiwan, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, USA, Norway, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Korea and other countries.
Classic Mode Sdn. Bhd has a wholly-owned subsidiary, Oceanbest (M) Sdn. Bhd. which is principally involved in the exportation of seafood to U.S.A., Hong Kong, Australia, Korea and other countries.
The company manufactures salted seafood under a controlled environment using a German-made dryer operated by micro-computer system and electricity. The quality of the salted seafood produced is strictly monitored to ensure that only the best products enters the export market.
Classic Mode Sdn. Bhd. adheres strictly to the hygiene standards and stringent quality control of all products. In anticipating both local and international consumers’ need and provide consumers’ satisfaction, Classic Mode Sdn Bhd being led by a team of Quality Assurance staffs has obtained Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) status for all its export products under Oceanbest Sdn Bhd. The company has committed to continue its research and development to further improve its product as well as keep abreast of the market trends.
